Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using BoltHire you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with the laws of your jurisdiction, including any rules that apply to job applications and employment disclosures.

2. Accounts

You may register with an email and password or via Google sign-in where enabled. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at the support contact listed below if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose a security risk, or are used in a way that harms the Service or other users.

3. The Service

BoltHire helps job seekers match with live listings, score fit against their profile and resume, generate tailored cover letters and resume notes, track applications, and use Auto Apply within plan limits.

• Job listings are sourced from third parties (including Arbeitnow-sourced feeds) and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. We do not control employer sites or listing content.
• Match scores and rankings are estimates based on your profile, resume, and listing text. They are not guarantees of suitability, interviews, or offers.
• AI-generated cover letters, resume structuring, and tailored notes are drafts. You must review and approve anything before you send it to an employer.

4. Auto Apply — what it does and does not do

When you use Auto Apply (including batch Auto Apply), BoltHire records an application in your dashboard for the selected job and returns the job listing URL so you (or your browser) can open the listing and complete the application yourself.

Auto Apply does not submit applications to employers, applicant tracking systems (ATS), or job boards on your behalf. It does not fill third-party forms, click submit on employer sites, or guarantee that an application reaches an employer.

You remain solely responsible for completing, submitting, and following up on applications, and for the accuracy of information you provide to employers.

Plan quotas (for example, monthly Auto Apply allowances) limit how many Auto Apply actions you can run. Unused allowance does not roll over unless we expressly say otherwise.

5. Your content and license to us

You retain ownership of resumes, profile information, cover letters you edit, and other materials you upload or create ("Your Content").

You grant BoltHire a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service — including parsing resumes, generating embeddings and match scores, producing draft cover letters and notes, storing files, and providing support.

You represent that you have the right to provide Your Content and that it does not infringe others' rights or contain unlawful material. You must not upload content you are not authorized to share.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information to employers or to BoltHire.
• Use the Service to spam employers, scrape job sites in violation of their terms, or circumvent technical or plan limits.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems.
• Resell, rent, or provide the Service to third parties without our written permission.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms.

7. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Paid plans and free trials are billed through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. Card and payment details are processed by Lemon Squeezy, not stored in full by BoltHire.

Plans renew automatically at the then-current rate until you cancel. Prices and Auto Apply quotas are described on our Pricing page and at checkout; we may change them with notice as required by law.

Free trials (where offered) typically last seven (7) days, require a payment method, and convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Details shown at checkout control if they differ.

8. No employment or outcome guarantees

BoltHire is a productivity and matching tool. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, salary outcomes, or that any particular listing is still open or accurately described.

We are not a recruitment agency and do not act as your agent with employers unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that AI outputs will be accurate or suitable for any purpose without your review.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOLTHIRE AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR, IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID, ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections where you live (for example, in the EU/EEA or UK).

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify BoltHire and its operators against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your applications to employers, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where additional consent is required by law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory protections of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country where required by law.
